Who am I? |

My name is Melanie M. Wong. I completed my undergraduate degree in Elementary Education with a minor in Teaching English as a Second Language at the University of Alberta. I have a Masters of Education from the University of British Columbia (UBC) specializing in Teaching English as a Second Language. My graduate work during this program focused on ESL Literacy and SMART boards. I also have a PhD in Teaching English as a Second Language from UBC. My dissertation research looked at K-12 ELLs in a Technology-Enhanced Classroom. Currently I am an Assistant Professor of Teaching at UBC.

I have taught classes at the University of British Columbia (Face to Face and Online). In addition, I worked for the Calgary Board of Education (CBE). I worked for the CBE in many capacities. I am passionate about ELL and using technology as a tool for learning.
